UPDATE -  Death Notice:  Georgia Rose Hardy, 79, of Jasonville, passed away October 24, 2018 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care - Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.   Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 27 at Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Jim Knight officiating.  Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.

UPDATE - Death Notice: Frances T. Dean, 92, of Shelburn, Indiana, passed away October 21, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral Services, Friday, October 26, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville, Indiana, with grandson Steven Dean and Pastor Chris Elmore officiating.  Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of services Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at the K of P Cemetery in Hymera, Indiana.

UPDATE - Death Notice: Ray Gene Rose, Jr., passed away September 12, 2018 in Terre Haute, Indiana.   A memorial Service was held at Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the shelter house in Linton, Indiana. Cremation was chosen and he was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, in Linton, Indiana.

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
