UPDATE -  Death Notice: Donald A. McNabb, 75, of Linton, passed away August 25, 2018 at his residence.  Visitation is Tuesday, August 28 at Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian Street, Jasonville from 5 -9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 29 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time at the funeral home. Services at the Cox funeral home, with Bro. Alan Borders and Pastor Doug Cassel officiating.  Burial at Valhalla Memory Garden Cemetery in Monroe County, Indiana.

UPDATE - Death Notice: Lysle Eugene Pittman, 85, of Bloomfield passed away on August 26, 2018.   Graveside Services at Walnut Grove Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31. A Celebration of Life is at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Walnut Grove Community Building , and fellowship with friends is from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m..   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a youth program or a church of your choice in Lysle's name.   Condolences may be made at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.com

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
