UPDATE: Death Notice: Billy Lennings, 55, known to family and friends as "BB" passed away January 21, 2019 at his residence.   A Memorial Service arranged by Cox Funeral Home is Monday, January 28, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jasonville Church of God, with Pastor Jonathan Heard and Rev. Jason Hill officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. 

UPDATE: Death Notice: Iris R. "Sunshine" Peavey, 97, of Jasonville passed away January 18, 2019 in her residence. Funeral Services are at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Cox Funeral Home, Jasonville, with Pastor Chris Elmore officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, Indiana. Contributions may be made in Memory of Iris to the Howesville Community Church.

UPDATE: Death Notice: Susan Sickora, 64, of Freelandville, Indiana, passed away January 21, 2019 in Prairie Village Nursing and Rehab in Washington, Indiana.   Funeral Services are Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville, with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Susan to the Cox Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
